Members of San Jose Taiko drummers kicked off the festivities as representatives from Shea Properties and its JV Partner Ivanhoe Cambridge, The Mayor of San Jose, City Councilmembers, and local community leaders gathered for the groundbreaking of Shea Properties’ newest apartment community, 6th & Jackson. Located in San Jose’s historic Japantown district, 6th & Jackson is a two-building, 518-unit apartment community that also includes 17,000 SF of street-level retail. First units are scheduled to open in early 2021.
