At the core of this family network of influential companies is J.F. Shea Construction, Inc. The construction company’s legacy of milestone achievements include San Francisco’s iconic Golden Gate and Oakland Bay bridges, the Hoover Dam, the Glenwood Springs Reverse Curve Tunnel, and the tunnels for the Bay Area Rapid Transit system. More recent projects include a state-of-the-art desalination plant in Carlsbad, California, the Los Angeles International Airport to Crenshaw Metro line, and Manhattan’s Line 7 extension of the New York subway system.
